This was an appeal filed in the Eastern District of Missouri, where we won a remand for a new hearing due to the Administrative Law Judge's error in properly evaluating this case.
OUTCOME: Remanded to Social Security for a new hearing
This was an appeal to the Federal District Court of Eastern Missouri for a client that had been turned down for Disability Insurance Benefits by the Social Security Administration three times. I argue ... d that Social Security's judge failed to properly evaluate the medical opinion evidence presented. The District Court judge agreed with me, reversed and remanded the case back to the Social Security Administration for a new hearing.
OUTCOME: Remanded to Social Security for a new hearing
This was a Federal District Court Appeal I wrote for one of our clients that was previously turned down three times by the Social Security Administration. I argued that the Social Security judge had n ... ot given proper weight to the opinion evidence of one of our client's medical providers. The attorney for Social Security argued that this was a "harmless error." The Federal District Court judge agreed with me and remanded the case for a new hearing.
