Mr Adkins was hired Originally to represent me in a Bankruptcy case. To make a long, arduous and painful story short I will skip to the points that are of importance. Mr. Adkins while representing me also represented other clients which happened to be my council during a mediation process which late...r became a bankruptcy case. There was a conflict of interest in the fact that Mr. Adkins got his Fellow Attorneys off and hung me out to dry, making me the "sacrificial Lamb" so to speak. I later found out this was the case because Mr. Adkins was promised a position at this law firm, which they eventually fired him. Also while representing me Mr. Adkins failed to show for several "In Court Hearing's that his presence was mandatory thereby I received a judgement against me because even though He Promised he would attend, He suddenly came down with an unexplained and unverified illness that prevented him from being there as he says. Also Mr. Adkins while representing me asked to borrow a large sum of money which he swore would help him move to take a position at another law firm and thereby having better resources to represent me. Mr. Adkins was shortly let go of this position to and despite putting it in writing and promising me on several different Occasions, Mr. Adkins has failed miserably in paying back the thousands he owes me. He still has yet to pay me back years later, despite my several emails and phone conversations in which he swore to pay me back. Mr. Adkins is an unscrupulous Attorney who has extreme difficulty holding any position in ANY law firm for any significant length of time. Just ask for his history of employment. If you are a Firm, I would be very Leery of hiring him based on my experience with him.

I have hired this Attorney in the past and he is guilty in my opinion of unethical and malpractice conduct. He owes me over 8 thousand dollars! And has asked for personal loans that he has never paid back. He never stays at any one particular firm for any length of time before he is dismissed. Curren...tly I am in the process of suing him and reporting him to the Bar in California, Florida, and wherever else he is recognized by them. Please steer clear of this man. He has been nothing but a headache for me. This is the last person on earth you should consider hiring for any type of legal services.
