On July 7, 2010, Plaintiffs' filed a complaint seeking a declaratory judgment that GEICO had a duty to pay benefits to Hoelbl under her GEICO policy's UIM coverage. Plaintiff collected under her GEICO ... liability policy for the negligence of the driver of her vehicle and now was seeking to obtain in addition, underinsured (UIM) coverage under the same policy where Hoelbl had multiple UIM coverages on other vehicles she insured with GEICO. The trial court held that there was no UIM coverage. Hoelbl filed her appeal in State Court and we won.
