Miranda Nichole Dampier

I'm a family law attorney at Woods Law, PLLC in Northern Kentucky. I earned my J.D. from Salmon P. Chase College of Law with a Certificate of Concentration in Family Law.

Before law school, I was an art teacher after earning a Master's of Teaching from the University of the Cumberlands. That experience gave me patience, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of child development — tools I use every day in my practice.

My path to law was shaped by a passion for protecting children. At the Children's Law Center in Covington, I represented juvenile clients under a limited law license, conducting interviews, navigating sensitive case dynamics, and advocating for kids in the courtroom. Judicial internships with Fayette County's Family Court and Criminal/Civil Courts showed me how judges evaluate cases, draft orders, and run their dockets. I understand how the courtroom works from both sides of the bench.

When children's futures are on the line, I bring the heart of an educator and the tenacity of a litigator to every case.
