If I could give zero stars, I would. I dont even know where to start with this quack of a representation that i paid thousands of dollars for. I wish there was a way to sue for my money back, she done absolutely nothing for me in the year that i paid her to represent me. I ended up having to fire her... as our attorney. She would never respond to emails or calls, she constantly put off court dates and would not file motions on the issues i was having, even though i requested them. It appeared as if she was representing me for the opposing counsels benefit. Everything the opposing counsel wanted, they got and she argued with me that the things I wanted and was requesting were not able to be done and not in the best interest of the child.. Last time I checked following a court order and having both parents in the childs life in most cases is in the best interest of the child. 3 months after firing her and filing my own motions , representing myself, the judge ordered majority of the things I was requesting.

Ms. McKinney is a awesome attorney, she is ruthless in the court room , as I'm a single father and have fought for my son in 5 county's, 2 states. Ms. McKinney got me the results I needed . She straight chewed up and spit out the other party along with their attorney. her knowledge about family law i...s top notch, she's not going to tell you what you want to hear, she's going to tell you how it is and what the law is . communication could be a little better but she a great all around attorney , highly recommended.

I hired Alysha McKinney back in April. My husband walked out on me two weeks before our 20th anniversary. He's been lying and cheating for over a year. She has been kind and very knowledgeable of the laws. I wanted a -itch and I asked her if she could be one before I hired her because I raised his da...ughters and am currently raising his granddaughters whom he also walked out on and left them with me. Alysha has been very professional and on top of my case the entire time. I wanted a shark and that is what I got! I had to speak with another attorney in regards to bankruptcy (another trick he has thrown at me) and he told me when leaving that typically in a divorce one person is outgunned. He looked at me and told me that I outgunned him. Which gave me so much confidence in my choice of attorneys. Don't listen to the negative comments because according to the replies she was the opposing attorney, so yeah, they're not going to like her! She's great!!!!

Alysha McKinney is ridiculously unprofessional, untimely and improper. Let’s start with the most egregious part of her demeanor, attacking opposing counsel’s character because she was angry she doesn’t know adoption laws, yet allowed herself to be paid to represent one. She will straight out lie in h...er briefs, even when fact checked BY THE COURT. She will not check your docket to see if you filled out all necessary paperwork that have a direct impact on receiving the outcome you desire. She makes ridiculous statements to be used as “emotional” even though she cannot present any binding legal evidence of her stance. Her briefs are abysmal and could be written by a middle school student. The grammar, spelling and language we won’t even get into. She frequently loves to quote laws… well, half of the sentence of the law to try to prove her case, yet if you finish the sentence it goes directly against what she is trying to present. If she cannot refute opposing counsels claim, “she lets the case go on and on and on” remember that one alysha? An actual sentence you used in a court brief haha. Unprofessional. Yet YOU were the one requesting continuances for an entire year based off your quote from the court document “needing more time to prepare”….. for an entire year!?!? And then to show up to trial with only a laptop with google pulled up on it. No notepad, no binder, I mean you had to ask the bailiff for a pen and paper, come on! Do not pay this women your hard earned money if you want a long, purposely drawn out presentation that makes little to no sense and will frustrate the magistrate/judge. I would go so far as to say in the very short time of seeing her work, is quite unimpressive and embarrassing.

If I could give ZERO stars I would! I’ve never seen such an UNPROFESSIONAL and NASTY woman in a courtroom! A mother gets told by the judge her kids are being taken away, Alysha takes it upon herself to laugh out loud in the courtroom and says, “I told you! I told you we had this case!” Absolutely dis...gusting! Ms.McKinney you are being reported to the BAR association, even if they do nothing to you, they need to be aware of your obscene behavior in the courtroom! You should be ashamed!
