Defendant was charged with fraudulent use of a credit card, theft, and conspiracy to commit theft. Two other co-defendants involved who entered a guilty plea to the charges. After much research int ... o the case and doing due diligence, I discovered that the state did not have the necessary evidence to prove the case against my client. The state continued to push for a trial on the matter with the hopes of getting a guilty plea. We endured the fight and the case was dismissed on the morning of the scheduled jury trial.
