Social Security Disability Appeals Council conducted an "own motion review" of a favorable ALJ decision for a young client with mental and social impairments based on the ALJ's decision and what they p ... erceived as a lack of evidence. They wanted to reverse his decision on this basis. I fought it and won. The client was awarded benefits and backpay.
