Client had two convictions for possession of marijuana and one conviction for possession of paraphernalia. He went to Mexico to visit his grandmother and when he returned to the United States he was de ... tained at IAH George Bush Airport by Customs and Border Patrol. He was transferred to the immigration detention facility near the airport. The facility is called CCA and it is on Export Plaza. He was detained for a while until his family called our firm and hired us to represent him in court. The immigration judge was very reasonable and he granted a pardon to my client and my client is free now. Later I applied for him to become a U.S. Citizen and he was approved.
