About Roy
Biography
I earned my B.S. in Agriculture and my law degree from the University of Kentucky. I’m a member of the American Association for Justice and the Kentucky Justice Association, and I previously served on the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board before being appointed Master Commissioner of the Clay Circuit Court.
Over the years, I’ve been honored by the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forums, The National Trial Lawyers Top 100, Rue Ratings’ Best Attorneys in America, and I’ve been named a Super Lawyer for six consecutive years. I’ve also had the privilege of serving as a Special Justice on the Kentucky Supreme Court three times.
Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors with my family. My son and daughter join me in wildlife projects on our farm, and together we were recognized by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife as “Landowner of the Year” for the Jackson Purchase District.
