Jan 26, 2015OUTCOME: Wife's case was outright dismissed. Husband was allowed to plea to a misdemeanor after I convinced the prosecutor to waive the Child Passenger element of the charge.
Former MLB baseball player and his wife were driving home from a concert with their minor children in the backseat. Husband was driving and hit a parked car. Police saw the incident happen from a block ... away. husband drove away and parked on another street and he had his wife switch seats so that he would not be charged with a DWI. His wife did so, and both were arrested for Felony DWI w/ Child Passenger. Blood results were more than 3X the legal limit for the husband.
