Criminal vs. Car Dealer
Feb 01, 2020OUTCOME: Car Dealer got car bak, Criminal's attorney was disbarred, and Criminal (formerly number one on the FBI's most wanted list for the state of Washington) was murdered while he was out on bail. Justice for everyone.
Our client, Car Dealer, bought a Dodge Challenger from Criminal, a former employee, who was incarcerated and needed the money for bail. Criminal and his cousin showed up the next day and said that his ... girlfriend had no right to sell the car and he wanted the car back. (He posted bail the previous day with the $10,000 that his girlfriend brought him from Car Dealer.) When refused, Criminal jumped the counter and assaulted the clerk on duty. Failing to get "his" car back, Criminal then called the police and reported his car stolen by Car Dealer. The local police (the city shall remain unnamed), with the intelligence of the Keystone Kops, took reports from all parties and then impounded the car.
