Adele Burt Brown

I had the unfortunate mistake of hiring Adele Burt Brown as my lawyer. First of all, she does not return calls, once it was two months before I heard back from her. My ex had made false allegations that I had proof, a recorded phone call that she was lying. Adele Burt Brown showed up to my hearing wi...thout this evidence and tried to get me to plead guilty to a crime I did not commit. When I later was in her office and asked for the evidence tape, she returned it unopened in the package I had paid to have overnighted to her. Think about that, not only did she not bring my evidence of my innocence to court with her, she did not even open the envelope. I had hired her for a custody case which she completely botched and ruined. This woman acted as though she was going to go into my trial and give me her all and fight for me and my son against my sociopathic ex whom Adele clearly knew was lying about numerous issues. But what Adele did was instead try to get me to agree to outrageous stipulations. And yet, she completely surrendered on the day of my trial and tried to get me to do the same.It was such a nightmare and only added to my already trauma I was going through. I recently went to her office and if you are thinking of hiring this woman, go to her office when she is not there and look at what a disaster it is. It was so bad I took a photograph of it. There were files all over the floor buried under more files and loose papers all over the place and her desk was the same as well as another office area, It was like a reality show of hoarders except with important legal documents of others lives in her hands. When she saw me in her office she actually cussed me out like a crazed person on drugs. The judge in my case had told her she was going to recommend some sort of mental health counseling for her and have it ordered. But once they both made nice, Adele was no longer interested in fighting my case. She also never refunded my trial money. This woman is a complete nightmare lawyer and if you want to lose your case or have more emotional and mental trauma added to your life, then hire her. She should be disbarred in my opinion.
