Represented a biological father in a contested adoption trial. Mothers husband petitioned for a step-parent adoption of clients biological child. Client had never met his child and was in prison at the ... time of the trial. Successfully showed the Court mother’s repeated attempts to conceal the child and client’s diligent efforts over the past three years to locate and legitimate the child. Petition was denied and client was allowed to legitimte his son for which he now shares custody with the mother and since being released from prison, has developed a very strong bond with the child.
