he was offered through public defender office I should have requested a continuence due to his negligence and incompetence ... he was biased and didnt investigate, cross examine, offer closing statement, or attempt to prove the innocent plea, overall Barker Presumed a guilty conviction in the case a...lthough no evidence to support a guilty conviction, numerous holes in prosecutor story, and most importantly he continuously tried to persuade me to accept a lesser charge when in truth I was innocent...needless to say received a guilty conviction for a crime not committed...as i previously noted he was offered as public defender and if the money was available would have paid for one that was interested in seeking justice...the basis of public defenders however is that even the poor are able to receive equality in the legal system its distrubing that Barkers lack of interest in mycase since it was not paid has resulted in a life sentence of an innocent man...dont risk the chance of being Barkers "welfare case"..find a different attorney
