Alex Kuebbing

Alex is a Louisville, Kentucky personal injury attorney who represents individuals and families injured by the negligence of others. He focuses his practice on personal injury litigation, including car accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, and serious injury claims throughout Kentucky.

What sets Alex apart is his extensive experience on both sides of personal injury litigation. Before representing injured individuals, Alex spent more than 12 years defending insurance companies and their insureds at a Louisville-based insurance defense firm, where he became a partner. During that time, he represented individuals, small businesses, healthcare providers, and Fortune 500 companies in lawsuits involving personal injury, wrongful death, and property damage.

That experience gives Alex a valuable perspective when handling injury claims. He understands how insurance companies evaluate claims, investigate accidents, assess liability, and defend against demands for compensation. He uses that knowledge to anticipate insurance company strategies, identify weaknesses in their defenses, and pursue the maximum compensation available for his clients. He is equally comfortable negotiating with insurance companies and taking cases to trial when necessary.

Alex has tried cases to jury verdict involving automobile accidents, premises liability, and animal liability. He has also been selected to Super Lawyers for the past three years.

A native of Boone County, Kentucky, Alex earned his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Bellarmine University, where he received the 2008 Silver Knight Award as the university's most outstanding senior male student-athlete. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he served as a Notes Editor for Volume 99 of the Kentucky Law Journal.

Alex is admitted to practice in all Kentucky state courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

Alex lives in Louisville with his wife and three sons.
