Nicholas Ryan Hart

After clerking at PPOA for two summers, Nick became an Associate in October of 2007. He currently focuses his practice in the areas of medical malpractice defending physicians against claims of negligence, professional liability defense, toxic torts, and products liability defense. Nick has already achieved significant success as a trial attorney, having been trial counsel in a number of cases.

Nick was born in Louisville, Kentucky and raised in Danville, Kentucky. In 2004, he graduated from Colorado College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics, with a Minor in American History. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2007. While in law school, Nick was a member of the Kentucky Law Journal and served as Notes Editor. He was also a member of the Moot Court Board and the National Moot Court Team.

Nick welcomed his son, Hudson, into his family in December 2013. With any remaining free time, which is limited as a new parent, he enjoys playing softball, golf, and fantasy football, and enjoys following the development of independent music in Kentucky. Nick is also involved with First Tee of Louisville, Relay for Life, and Legal Aid Society’s Domestic Violence Program.
