Earthbound Angel

My boyfriend had gotten pulled over on his way home and ended up going to jail. His bond had been set for $5000, which I couldn't afford to pay. After talking to a friend, she referred me to Mr. Sipes, and she claimed he was the best attorney in Meade County. I was skeptical, but she had never lead m...e wrong and I figured I could at least call him. When I got Mr. Sipes on the phone, I explained my boyfriends charges and what initially lead to him being stopped and then I asked Mr. Sipes what it would take for him to represent my boyfriend. I got the reply I had expected; the retainer fee up front and then more money throughout the remainder of the case. I explained to Mr. Sipes that my boyfriend and I are both single parents with our own daily living expenses. I told him if he could work with me in some way I would guarantee he would get every penny he asked for. I was floored when I heard his response, "If you'll guarantee me the money, I'll represent your boyfriend." We then went through a few more details about my boyfriend and the case, then he asked a few basic questions about me and got my contact info. He said that he was going to appear in court the following morning on behalf of my boyfriend (before I had paid anything towards the retainer fee) to have the bond amount lowered. By that evening (the same day I had initially made the inquiry to Mr. Sipes) I had gotten word through my boyfriends mom that his boss and her had just gotten off the phone and she was told that my boyfriend had been added to the docket the following day for arraignment. It sounded to good to be true so I called the jail to see if they knew anything, they didn't. By that time the court house had already been closed for a few hours so I figured I would see if the docket may have been put online. First off, I never honestly expected to find the docket online, but I did, and then as as I was scanning through it I found my boyfriends name. I couldn't contain my excitement as I realized what had happened...Mr. Sipes had called my boyfriends boss to verify employment and then, somehow, he was able to get the whole case expidited a week sooner than I had expected...and I still had not given him any money yet. I'm writing this review on the same day as all of this happened, so as of right now, my boyfriend will have court in the morning and from what I've been told plus a little extra research online, I should be bringing my boyfriend home tomorrow after court. As far as Mr. Sipes goes, he was completely honest with me about everything, he listened carefully to what I had to say, he was understanding of my situation and was willing to work with me if I was willing to work with him, and he went above and beyond what I had ever expected him to do just so my boyfriend could return home to his son and all the rest of us and so my boyfriend wouldn't lose his job. I've never met a person who was so straight-forward and understanding, I've never met a lawyer who was so good at his job, and I've never met an angel until I met Mr. Darrin Sipes today...he's well worth every penny he'll charge you and I really do believe he is the best lawyer in Meade County.
