APL Superior Court appeal
N/AOUTCOME: The judge ruled in my client's favor to uphold the APL being ceased.
I represented the wife in this case. She was the breadwinner throughout the marriage due to her employment. The husband was capable of doing more for work than he did and, when she decided to divorce h ... im, he attempted to literally make her pay for it. She had to pay him APL (Alimony Pendente Lite) until the divorce was final. He appealed to the Superior Court of PA who denied him getting any additional monies. When it was sent back to the initial judge, he also decided to uphold the original decision to terminate the APL despite an additional de novo hearing on the matter. It was a lengthy battle but ultimately resulted in a win for my client.
