If I could give no stars I would.......My husband and I hired this firm with high hopes of a good experience. We are out of state and had a case in MS and hiring him was not only the biggest mistake of our life but was a complete waste of time. We had business with him for 6 months and maybe only spo...ke with him over the phone five to seven times and he emailed us maybe four to five and that was mostly THE WEEK OF OUR CASE!! Rushing to get information from us that should have been stated earlier. Only good thing was he did however work with us on the payment (but hell in the end we will be paying the exact same amount for someone else who probably could have helped us a hell of a lot more) our case has been well over a month ago and he STILL HAVENT GOTTEN BACK IN CONTACT with us about what was the final outcome. During the months we have dealt with everything but a good firm......He did a okay job in court (won’t take that from him) my husband represented himself the first go round and we didn’t get the outcome we expected and was told by the courts to get a lawyer and the outcome was the same, so we basically will be paying 2500 in total, just for him being in the court room with us and to repeat everything we did the first time.....His paralegal Denise isn’t that great either...They are not on the same page about anything!!........Ugh listen....if you can.....stay away from this firm, take your money else where, even if it is more, I promise you don’t want the headache of NEVER being able to talk to your lawyer.....NEVER knowing the answers to your questions......NEVER getting replies on your email BUT STILL BEING CHARGED.....Just take your money else where........

His firm does not care about your case at all, only your money. He would only accept cash as payment. My divorce still hasn't been resolved and it has been 5 years now. At 1st we pursued an uncontested divorce and paid the $900 for that back in 2013. However, due to no child support clause being in t...he papers, it was not able to be filed. Also, the divorce papers that were drawn up for us had dates all wrong and was filled with grammatical errors. After a year we tried to pursue a contested divorce to where I was told a court order was sent and delivered to him in the county that he lived in. I already receive child support from my ex and the divorce case still isn't resolved. I have multiple times and are told each time that they are trying to locate my paperwork. I went to the Chancery court myself and it was never even filed with them in 2013, and also a court order was never sent to my ex at all within the past 5 years. I have paid a total of $3700 and absolutely nothing has been done. I am now going in a different route to get my money back for services not rendered.

I hired him. I paid him in full. I did not get the service I paid for at all. I would not recommend him unless you sign a contract with a price list. He did not communicate with me about my case. Everything was always a surprise because he never kept in touch, so it was like a whirlwind having him as... my lawyer. He never provided me updates. He never gave me a financial sheet explaining why he charged me over $2000 for my divorce, even though I request it from him repeatedly. And worst of all, he took so long to work on my case, only to get to court and the judge did not grant my divorce because Hosford was not prepared, according to the judge. So please research your lawyer, ask for prices to compare. I overpaid too much, and Hosford did not get my divorce for me. Having him as my lawyer has been more stressful than trying to divorce, because he never kept in touch with me. It really made me feel he just took my money and wanted me to just go away. I am still suffering financially and emotionally from my experience with him.

This lawyer took $2400 and hardly listened to the problem. He has since avoided talking to us on the phone. He lets Angle make excuses for his lack of interest. There is absolutely nothing happening on our cases and he is conveniently out of the office when we call.I would not recommend to anyone.I w...ould give him a zero.

He never returns calls. Has his receptionist lie to clients and say he is in court when he is sitting in his office. Doesn't get you the best deal in court, just goes along with whatever the DA is offering. He needs to specialize in one particular area instead of spreading himself so thin in the many... areas he practices. Then with experience, he might get better.
