A gentleman was referred to me by his CPA. His wife had been diagnosed with cancer. He and his wife have 2 kids and are living in a home that is jointly owned by his parents. He was very distraught ... and wanted to make sure to get something in place in the event that something happened to his wife and his parents. Within just a few weeks we were able to get a Revocable Trust. We also prepared health care directives (powers of attorney and living wills) for him and his wife, and did planning for his parents to ensure that the jointly owned house would pass to him in the event of her death. He was very grateful, and he and his family were able to enjoy their time together and no longer worry about their planning issues.
