I was the first ABA board certified bankruptcy attorney on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and of all board certified bankruptcy attorneys in the state of Mississippi I have been board certified the longest, since 1994. I represent individuals and businesses who file bankruptcy, I also represent creditors such as banks, finance companies and mortgage companies. This experience allows me to know both sides and their strategies. I have also represented bankruptcy trustee's and creditor committees. Unlike many bankruptcy attorneys who maintain large staffs and handle large numbers of cases , I concentrate on the quality of the representation not the quantity of cases. Other Attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants are not employed. All cases are handled personally, and I am ALWAYS available to take calls and questions from clients. I handle cases under all chapters of the bankruptcy code: Chapter 7 Liquidations Chapter 11 reorganizations Chapter 13 payment plans for individuals with regular income I am a board member and former president of the Mississippi Bankruptcy Conference, Inc., the statewide bankruptcy organization of bankruptcy attorneys, judges and interested creditors.
