First let me start by saying, Susan is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, not only as an attorney, but as a person! Like most people, I never thought I would need an attorney for anything. Already feeling like the odds were against me being a father fighting for child custody in my divorce, I was extremely worried ...that my first experience with an attorney would be a bad one and this was NOT a case where i could afford to have an "okay" attorney. After doing some research on attorneys with great experience in Family Law, I felt a glimmer of hope when I came across Susan and saw that she also fought for Father's Rights. Unlike other attorneys, when I reached out to her she got back to me in a reasonable amount of time. After she heard my case in my initial consultation, I KNEW she was the attorney for me! She was professional, yet very compassionate as well. It felt like I was talking to a friend I've known for a while. I can talk all day about how great she is as a person. But as an attorney, she's a POWERHOUSE! She's a very sweet person, but she's definitely not a pushover and will fight for you til the end! Susan is very well known and respected in Columbus and other locations of her work. She was very informative in my case and looked out for the kids and my best interest. One of the things I favor most is that she was immediately responsive to my questions and concerns at all times of the day! And when times are as stressful as these, sometimes all you really want to do is get answers and get everything done as quick as possible. I'd also like to add, that out of all the times we spoke on the phone, exchanged texts, emailed, etc, she only brought up payment 1 time in our initial consultation and never again until the end. She was more focused on getting everything in my case squared away, which made me very comfortable and confident in the services she was providing me. In the end, I feel she was worth WAAAAY more than I paid. She literally goes above and beyond and get things done QUICK! She ended up getting me full physical and legal custody of my kids until my divorce is filed or annulled. With divorce attorneys I know that ppl say "dont expect to go into it getting everything you want." But honestly, Susan gave me exactly what i wanted.
