I've been practicing law in Mississippi since 2002, following my father into a profession that's now spanned two generations of my family. I studied at Tulane Law School and later at the University of Cambridge, but what actually shaped how I practice family law wasn't something I learned in a classroom. It was watching, case after case, what people need most when their family is coming apart. That's the work I chose, and it's why I've stayed in it for more than twenty years.

My practice centers on divorce, child custody, adoption, and domestic violence cases, both in and out of the courtroom. I try cases when a case needs to be tried, and I negotiate hard for a resolution when that serves my client better than a prolonged fight. Either way, clients work directly with me, not with an associate handling their file while I stay at a distance.

I also understand this work from the inside. I've been through a divorce myself, and I'm raising young children. When a client sits across from me trying to work out a custody schedule or figure out how to tell their kids what's changing, I'm not guessing at what that feels like.

Hattiesburg is where I've built both my practice and my reputation. I served as President of the Downtown Hattiesburg Association in 2021, and I currently serve on the Hattiesburg Tourism Board.
