Brandon Larue Brooks

Same story as everyone else who rated him poorly. Lies of medical issues, pretending the divorce was finalized, and communication is rare. Simple uncontested divorce has taken over a year and the court tells me that there is no record of any case. I have begun to work on my case against this guy if i...t matters to the Mississippi Bar association. They seem to allow this guy to run scam after scam. He stole $850 from me and his wife Ashley even speaks bad about this guy. I wish I could confront this guy somehow, but he is never in the office or where he is supposed to be (court house). Mississippi Bar Association, if you are reading this, put a stop to this thief. This guy is ruining lives! I will not say allegedly because it is factual!

I called Brandon's office several months ago trying to find an attorney to handle my divorce. He called me back and gave me a fee of 3,500.00 to handle it. The next morning, he called and asked that I meet him at the courthouse in Lamar County and said I should bring the 3500.00. After meeting with... him, I thought I made the right decision, but that was the only meeting where he was on time. I called his office several times after and could not get a response. He called me back three weeks later and told me he "was able to get me a court date and would send/ give me everything." After over two weeks of not hearing from him, he called the morning of and gave me some B.S. about the court making a mistake, how my court date was pushed back two weeks, and asked me to come by his office the next day. I took off from work again, drove to his office and he was not there. I did not hear from him for close to a month. I called several times, and left voicemails, but no response. I called the court, and they had no knowledge of my case. I wasted over four months of my life on this liar! This guy will lie to you, avoid you, and con you! Not to mention the time you will lose taking off work to meet him only to be stood-up.... No wonder he never gave me a receipt, he never intended on doing anything. After reading the reviews, I realized he's been arrested before, and that I'm not the only one he's ripped off. I am currently in contact with the Mississippi Bar.

Brandon is nothing more than a con artist, liar, and a thief from my personal experience. He did absolutely nothing on my behalf on which he said was a "Slam dunk custody case due to my ex wife using my child as a weapon against me". He said we had court on certain dates and come to find out we was n...ever on the docket. Do not waste your time or money on him. He has since went to rehab and will not return any calls, emails, or texts about returning the money that he gladly took from me. If i could give him a ZERO star review I would.
