Litigation over school district
Apr 19, 2013OUTCOME: Successful
Parties had shared legal and physical custody. The parties lived in different school districts. At the time the child was to be enrolled in school, they disputed which district the child was to attend. ... We filed a Petition for Special Relief, asking the court to order that the child is to be enrolled in my client's school district. Following trial on the issue, the court ruled in my client's favor, determining that the best interest of the child will be served by having her attend school in my client's district.
