Biography
Bud Sheppard is the founder of Sheppard Law Firm, P.A., a Jackson, Mississippi
litigation firm. He represents clients across Mississippi in personal injury,
criminal defense, estate planning, civil litigation, and landlord-tenant matters.
Bud graduated magna cum laude from Mississippi College School of Law in 2021,
where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Mississippi College Law Review and
received the Best Comment Award. Before founding the firm, Bud clerked for the
Honorable Taylor B. McNeel on the United States District Court for the Southern
District of Mississippi and practiced at Porter & Malouf, P.A., focusing on
multidistrict litigation and personal injury.
Bud serves on the Board of Governors of the Mississippi Association for Justice
representing Hinds County. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar, the DUI
Defense Lawyers Association, and the American Inns of Court Charles Clark
Chapter. He received the Jackson Young Lawyers Association Outstanding Young
Lawyer of the Year Award in 2022.
