Joseph Anthony Murphy

I am a young attorney and do not have the experience many of my peers do.  What I do have is time to dedicate to your case, an open mind and good common sense.  I also have fresh legal knowledge of our ever changing and technologically advanced world.  I do work with lawyers that have the experience necessary and I am learning from them every day.  

       On a personal note, I grew up in the country, just outside of Tupelo, MS.  I come from a lower-middle class family that scraped to get by.  I worked on a pipeline crew through high school to buy my first car.  I then left home to attend the US Naval Academy for 2 years.  I came back home to MS, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and then my Law degree.  

        I remember what it's like to live poor and I know the value of a dollar.  I've worked with my hands and back and know the feeling of getting that Friday check for only a few hundred bucks in turn for 60 hours of digging ditches.  

        I enjoy truly helping people solve their problems, not just taking their money and telling them "well I did all I could for you, sorry buddy."  I try to solve problems, not just conventionally, but by thinking outside the box and looking at the situation from all perspectives.
