Plaintiffs were land brokers who arranged for the sale of a substantial amount of land in Coyote Springs. As part of the land sale, Defendant Pardee had the option to buy additional land for the next ... 40 years, upon which Pardee would be required to make appropriate commission payments and otherwise keep Plaintiffs informed about activities affecting their commissions. Pardee made additional purchases of land without paying Plaintiffs additional commissions or keeping them informed about the same. After a twelve day bench trial the Court awarded Plaintiffs the equitable relief they sought and $141,500.00 in compensatory damages. Judgment was later entered in the amount of $651,323.60 after post-trial motions. Affirmed in part, reversed in part on appeal, 135 Nev. Adv. Op. 22 (July 3, 2019).
