Biography
Christopher D. Burt began as a clerk for Rice Amundsen & Caperton PLLC in March 2018 and joined the Rice Divorce Team of Rice Amundsen & Caperton, PLLC as an associate attorney in June 2019. Mr. Burt graduated from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in May 2018.
Mr. Burt was a highly accomplished competitor in mock trial competition while attending Rhodes College, where he was the Captain of the mock trial program from 2008-2009. In 2010, Christopher graduated with honors from Victory University with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Psychology.
During law school, Mr. Burt worked with the University of Memphis Neighborhood Preservation Clinic and was the President of Memphis Law +1.
Before beginning his career as an attorney, Christopher served his community as a Memphis Police Officer from 2011-2018.
