OUTCOME: I obtained a divorce for my client. She has remarried and is doing well!

I consulted a couple of years ago with a Client who had two young daughters, age 3 and 5. During the consultation she explained to me her husband's actions during the last six months. My Client was q ... uite depressed and admitted that she was seeking help for her depression. After hearing her story, I surmised that her husband was intending on committing her for psychological help. I advised her that she needed to take her daughters and go somewhere safe until we could further assess her situation. She did so the next day. I received several phone calls the next day from a psychiatrist who insisted she come to the emergency room of his hospital. I advised my client not to go and she listened to me. That was 2 years ago.
