I was hired to represent a young man who was arrested and convicted of possession of dangerous drugs and was placed into removal proceedings. After examining all of his records, I was able to determine ... that we could apply for a waiver in his case. Once we prevailed on a 212(c) waiver and the client's lawful permanent residence was restored, and he now can file for naturalization.
