Disappointing experience

I went to Mr Taylor to get my child support judgement from out of state transferred to TN. My goal was to get a hearing that would allow me to obtain a garnishment. Mr. Taylor was unsure of what could be done but offered to speak to a judge personally to find out the best avenue to take. He stated... he would not charge me until he had this answer. I did everything that his office asked me to do, then waited. Nothing. Another visit to his office, same promise, same no charge until I get the answer. Fast forward several more months. He finally emails me and tells me he spoke to two attys, each with a different view of what to do, and dumped my case. His excuse moving more into criminal representation. In my opinion he made no attempt to speak to the Judge, could not figure out how to file the foreign document with Chancery Court, (a clerk told me it was a simple file which would then allow a hearing to be set), and did nothing to assist me. His secretary did call me and tell me it was time to pay something. My response was that I would gladly pay when he did what he said he was going to do. My case was simple, I shudder to think how he will handle a criminal case. If Mr. Taylor had no intention of doing anything until he received payment, he should have not made the statements he made. Bottom line, he just didn't do the job. Big talker, no action.

Wasted Time & Money

Mr. Taylor took my Personal Injury case and 2 years later was nothing but a waste of time. He put the case off onto his paralegal who was overwhelmed and gave information that was completely wrong on a number of issues. His paralegal left in the middle of my case and for a whole month I called trying... to speak to my lawyer about the case. All Mr. Taylor cared about was how fast I would take a settlement, did not care about me actually getting better, only what he could get. Whenever I tried to focus on my ability to get better he would get aggressive and verbally defensive towards me, even in front of witnesses. After I fired him I was given 30 days by the court to find a new lawyer and his office took 29 days to get me my records so I could find a new lawyer. I also found out that he hadn't given me all the info and even though I had moved twice he never updated the court.

Very professional, reliable and trustworthy A+++

Mr. Taylor took my child custody case on short notice. Mr. Taylor kept constant communication with me regarding the motions he had filed, and also the next steps moving forward. Mr. Taylor treated my case as if it were his own. He spent countless hours researching law pertaining to my case and was ab...le to have full custody granted to me. Mr. Taylor was able to deliver on promises that he made to me regarding my case. I had hired several attorneys previous to him for similar matters and feel that my money was not well spent. I highly recommend him as an attorney to anyone needing legal counsel. You can trust your family and well-being to this top notch attorney.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE . WORST ATTORNEY I EVER HAVE HAD. PLEASE READ BELOW.

Problems , started when the money (contingent fee) $2000.00 I paid him ran out. He immediately petitioned to be withdrawn from the case. Problem is that he never notified me his client. When I finally found out about this I then petitioned the court to reopen the petition for withdrawal. The judge... granted my petition. Then ordered a hearing. This attorney never showed up for the hearing and the judge ordered Mr. Taylor to represent me. He then said he would represent me but when it came to responding to the pending motions for sanctions/ cost against me he did not. A judgment was entered against me for costs and secondary costs. I then called Mr. Taylor and told him I talked to the Knoxville bar association and they said to file a petition to reopen the judgment in the existing court. But despite my request he filed a untimely appeal by fax which was eventually thrown out because the appeals court does not accept faxes. He then withdrew and again never sent me timely notice of the withdrawal so as that I might reply. I am very upset that Mr. Taylor has been so very negligent in his behavior. I do plan on disciplinary action for his illegal actions as well as malpractice lawsuits if possible. As I have said WHAT A NIGHTMARE . WORST ATTORNEY I EVER HAVE HAD.
