Jacob was appointed to represent me during a critical custody battle against my daughter’s father a man who had a long history of abusive behavior, drug involvement, and narcissistic control. I turned to Jacob for support, trusting him to advocate for my child’s safety and my rights as a mother. My d...aughter’s father tried to paint me as unfit, which was completely false. I’ve always done everything I can to protect and care for my daughter. Instead of standing by me, Jacob dismissed my concerns, accused me of lying, and constantly berated me during the most vulnerable time in my life. Rather than helping me build a case, he pressured and belittled me to the point where I felt powerless and unheard. He refused to defend me or my child. In the end, my daughter was placed in the hands of the very people I fought so hard to protect her from. I believe Jacob chose to side with influence and wealth, turning his back on me simply because I didn’t have the same financial power. Because of that, my daughter and I have both suffered. Now, she’s with the wrong family, and I live with the fear of not knowing what’s happening to her behind closed doors. Jacob, you didn’t just fail me as a lawyer you failed a child who needed protection, and the consequences of your inaction will be felt for a lifetime..

If Knox Co appoints him to represent your child, find a new lawyer. He takes a parent's side without even speaking to the other parties, doesn't speak to the child like he should and even tells the court the child says something they didn't. I will agree with another reviewer in regards to how he ...speaks to people, very demeaning, yells and very aggressive without any just cause. He does not represent the child's best interest, only goes off the lies he's been told and never seeks to hear the truth from others. Amazed he is still appointed to protect children in our system.

Do not hire this lawyer for any of your Juvenile legal matters. If he's appointed, seek other legal representation. He breaks code of ethics for the Tennessee Bars Association. He's s very rude and speaks to the clients parents in a ABUSIVE manner especially to someone that has domestic violence and ...trauma in their current and past. He called me names and actually defended the abuser in this case. I had a very bad and traumatizing experience with this man and am seeking other representation for my son through Knox County and am in the process of turning Mr Ankron into the Tennessee Bars Association and whatever else I can for this man's abusive manner.
