Elizabeth Mae Hutton

Throughout her career, Elizabeth has specialized in health care litigation, leveraging her prior experience as a Registered Nurse to become a skilled litigator. With nearly two decades in the field, she has defended numerous physicians, practice groups, and hospitals in cases of medical negligence and wrongful death. Additionally, Elizabeth has represented health care providers during board investigations and successfully argued before the Tennessee Court of Appeals. Her dedication to excellence is evident from her participation in the American Bar Association’s National Trial Academy in 2015 and her recognition as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2018. Elizabeth is an invited speaker on health care litigation issues and plays an active role in teaching medical malpractice law at ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine. She has also served the Tennessee Bar Association's House of Delegates as a representative for the First Judicial District since 2014. Alongside her husband, Elizabeth has cultivated a legal team that excels in delivering top-tier representation, thoughtfully addressing each client’s individual challenges alongside the demands of litigation.
