About me

I practice in the firm's real estate section and have extensive experience representing developers, owners and investors in the acquisition, development, financing, sale, leasing and management of commercial real estate properties, including multifamily projects, retail developments, mixed-use communities, office buildings, condominiums and single-family subdivisions. I also focus on the areas of land use and zoning.

In addition, I also represent local, regional and national lenders in commercial real estate loan transactions, including commercial construction and permanent financing for real estate developments, including multifamily housing complexes, small-box retail projects and mixed-use communities.

  • Bret Steven Alexander

Michael Stewart excels in all real estate and land use matters. I've known him for many years, and he works hard to understand the details of every case he handles (and how the details affect his client). He is honest when addressing questions with clients. He is well respected by his peers. His knowledge of this area of the law is both rare and remarkable.
