The trial court dismissed action by Alabama corporation against Wisconsin Corporation who won the race to the courthouse to file an action involving a contract and commissions dispute before being serv ... ed with the Alabama complaint under the forum non conveniens doctrine. Alabama Court of Civil Appeals reversed the trial court finding that the Alabama forum was no less convenient to the Wisconsin corporation than Alabama was for the Wisconsin Corporation. As an Alabama taxpayer, the plaintiff corporation had a strong interest in prosecuting its claims in Alabama and pursuing its claim under the Alabama Salesperson Commissions Act, inter alia, in the Courts of this State.
