also known as Jay Kennamer, Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist by the NBTA

Both Brent Burks and I are Board Certififed Civil Trial Specialists certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Less than 2% of attorneys have this important certification. What is unknown to the public is that most claiming to be trial attorneys dont have enough trial time or experience to even submit an application to become board certified. Question: Do you want someone handling your claim that the insurance company knows is a settler and no threat to its insured? Do you just rely upon a commercial where one claims to have a track record, but no board certification? Do you want a law firm that claims to be local, but actually is based in another state?
I am Jay Kennamer. I have practiced for over 22 years. According to the 2014 Tennesse Jury Verdict Reporter, I am the only one from the Chattanooga area listed in the "Ten-Year Totals" for trying the most cases during that time period in the whole State of Tennessee.

Gregory Burks, Car accident Attorney
I endorse this lawyer. Jay is a highly competent and aggressive lawyer. The defense attorneys and insurance companies know that. He has handled many hundreds of civil personal injury cases to conclusion. If a reasonable offer isn't received, he will get a case ready for trial in an efficient manner and will try the case. He has been listed several times as one of the most prolific trial lawyers in the state of Tennessee. I strongly endorse him from my personal observation to handle any and all personal injury cases, motor vehicle cases and any other civil litigation.
