Biography
Chris Markel has grown up in the Chattanooga area, and lived here with his family for most of his life. He started the Injured Worker's Justice Center to focus his law pracitce on the rights of injured workers. He has over 20 years of experience representing clients in worker's compensation cases, and prides himself on his effective representation on behalf of injured workers across Tennessee. He also has extensive practice experience representing clients in personal injury cases and other litigation matters.
Mr. Markel received his Juris Doctorate degree from Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis in the year 2000, and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, with a Bachelor of Arts. He is a major in the United States Army Reserve, and is a member of the Chattanooga Bar Association. He is "AV" rated by the Martindale Hubble lawyer's directory.
