Ben McGowan is extremely smart and a very fast thinker. I hired him for a civil case against the Department of Safety for the state of Tennessee on an illegal seizure of a vehicle and also hired him to defend a family member that was facing serious drug charges. Mr. McGowan schooled the attorney ...from the Department of Safety in court. He was clearly on a much higher level than the state attorney and he could not be out smarted. I was very impressed at how fast he would think and respond with excellent facts that were backed up by the law. We got the vehicle back with no fine. He was also able to get a family member out of serious drug charges by getting it moved to drug court where this person could actually get help and clean up her life.
