Trial experience

Having been in political positions and viewing numerous trials and representations, I have a good comparison from a professional and personal perspective. Mark's communication of law and stratigies is superb. We were extremely comfortable during the trial as Mark's explanation of what was happeni...ng from both the plaintiff and defendant's position was very helpful. His ability to examine expert testimony documents is superb. This skill and his ability to cross examine expert testimony during the trial is paramount to the process. Mark stratigecally planned and executed our defense. He is more than adequate and demonstrates upmost professionalism. The repor he exhibits with apposing council and the judge is professional and effective. What impressed me the most was his ability to make key points through various avenues. He effectively stressed important facts by cross examining a witness or through presentations of motions. No matter the outcome of our trial, we feel that we could not have been represented any better. Our position was presented in the best way possible. After reflecting back over the entire process, we feel nothing was left out. Mark listened to every thing we said and found a way to incorporate our feelings and position effectively. We would definitely use him again in any situation. Thank you Mark for making such a stressful and humiliating process bearable.

An "In Court" Attorney

I found myself needing a lawyer after a Contractor that I had been working for decided he had better things to spend my money on rather than paying me for my loyal services. I spoke with a few lawyer friends of mine whom directed me to Mark Freeman. Referred by other lawyers, in my mind, seemed promi...sing. While interviewing Mark Freeman, he made a statement that stuck with me and made him my choice. He said that he "loved to be in the courtroom". So many lawyers avoid the courtroom by cutting deals on the outside, leaving them with little actual courtroom experience. Not so with Mr. Freeman. It was very interesting to learn and watch how he handled the case in front of the court. He won my case, and has since gone on to win several other cases for people that I referred over, keeping his record, in my opinion, excellent and my referrals coming. If you have to go to court; go with the mindset that you may actually be “IN” a courtroom. You better have someone on your side who Loves it! Gary

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
