Benjamin Jacob Ford

Benjamin Ford is a criminal defense attorney serving clients throughout Middle Tennessee. Before founding the Law Office of Benjamin Ford, he spent more than 22 years as an Assistant District Attorney in Davidson County, Tennessee, where he prosecuted thousands of criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious violent felonies.

Having handled cases from initial investigation through trial and appeal, Ben understands how prosecutors evaluate evidence, negotiate cases, and prepare for court. He now uses that experience to protect the constitutional rights of individuals accused of crimes and to provide strategic, effective representation at every stage of the criminal justice process.

Ben represents clients charged with DUI, drug offenses, assault, domestic assault, theft, probation violations, and other misdemeanor and felony offenses. He is committed to providing honest advice, responsive communication, and vigorous advocacy while recognizing that every client deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

A Nashville attorney since 2004, Ben earned his Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. While in law school, he served as a Moot Court Associate, an ABA Law Student Division School Representative, and a member of the Student Bar Association Executive Council.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with minors in English and Philosophy, from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. During college, he served in student government and was captain and president of the rugby team.
