My Nightmare

I as plaintiff have a strong case with solid evidences. When interviewed David L King, he seems knowledgeable. I hired David L King. But he didn’t draft a good complaint (as a layperson, I realized until my case be damaged by him). He did not inform me the defendant filed counter claim, and did not a...nswer defendant’s counterclaim. He did not showed up in a critical hearing “Motion to Dismiss”, my case dismissed with prejudice. After that, he keep lying to me, said he filed motion 60 due to he mis-interpreted a court email, and an hearing had arranged, and told me an wrong court room …..actually he never filed the motion. I almost missed the deadline to save my case , luckily, i checked with court about the hearing, the court clerk told me there was no motion filed. I hired other lawyers filed rule 59 to reopened case and redraft the complaint, caused me extra more than $20,000 to correct his wrong doings, and more mental sufferings.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
