People often ask me why I do what I do. Why do I care about preparing families for the worst moments of their lives or help them deal with the aftermath of those moments. I do it because I know first hand what the lack of planning for death or disability can do to individuals and families during these events. A little planning can go a long way to guiding families through these difficult times and ensures that your wishes are carried out.

​You are never too young to think about planning for death or disability, you can lose someone you love at any moment - even if it is your child, people on the organ donor list and their loved ones will be forever impacted by a selfless decision to donate organs during a time of very fresh grief and people grieve in their own ways and at their own pace, patience and support go a long way.

​I also help families when there is a disability and Medicaid is needed. Even though 90% of us will be disabled and will need Medicaid and or Medicare at some point before we die, most of us never plan for that. We might plan for our deaths, but we don't plan for a disability that could wipe out our entire life savings leaving nothing for our families when we die. We help families plan for that possibility and to keep their assets and savings.
