OUTCOME: Obtained Sanctions and Upheld on Appeal.

Ray Brooks was sole plaintiff's counsel and sole appellate counsel on appeal in Peralta v. Durham, 133 S.W.3d 339 (Tex. App. Dallas 2004). The defendant who had initially denied liability came to trial ... and reversed their position the morning of trial. After winning a jury verdict, Ray Brooks obtained fees from the trial court for preparing a case on liability. The court appeals affirmed.
