My client granted, to a mechanic in Montgomery County, a lien on my client's vehicle due to repairs the mechanic was hired to do on my client's vehicle. After the mechanic returned the vehicle to my cl ... ient, my client took their vehicle to another auto shop, where mechanics and an insurance adjuster there inspected the vehicle and determined that the repairs the other mechanic was supposed to have done were not, in fact, done. Through negotiations with the first mechanic, I was able to convince the mechanic to release their lien on the vehicle in order to avoid a law suit.
