Kathryn Wall Olita

Katy was raised in Clarksville, Tennessee and is a graduate of Northeast High School. She attended college at the University of Tennessee, where she majored in Psychology. After graduation, Katy attended the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the University of Memphis Law Review, served as the Executive Director of the Student Bar Association and was a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. Katy received the Dean’s Distinguished Service Award prior to graduating cum laude in 2003. Katy began the practice of law with the Memphis law firm of Rosenblum & Reisman, PC, where she focused her practice on catastrophic injury and individual rights cases. In 2006, Katy moved home to Clarksville and joined Batson Nolan as a litigation associate. Her practice has been in Civil Litigation, with an emphasis in Governmental Liability, Employment Law and Business Litigation. Her practice also includes representing individuals in personal injury claims and other matters. In January 2013, Katy became a Member of the firm. She is a member of both the Tennessee and Montgomery County Bar Associations and is currently serving on the Executive Council of the Tennessee Bar Association Federal Practice Section. She is also a 2011 graduate of Leadership Clarksville, past president of the Customs House Museum Guild, Chair of the 2012 Flying High Auction, and is vice-present elect of the Acuff Circle of Excellence Board of Directors. Katy attends Madison Street United Methodist Church where she is involved in the children’s and music ministries. She and her husband, Aaron, have two beautiful children who keep them very busy.
