Replied last October 23, 2015I remember this case well. We were prepared to go to trial and fight for this client's innocence, but then the DA's Office made an offer to resolve the case through an agreement that did not involve a guilty plea and would not put anything on his record. This was essential for his immigration status and his career, and it was nice for him to have the certainty of not having to "roll the dice" with a trial; so he accepted the offer. We then got the case dismissed and expunged so that it would have no negative impact on his future. I appreciate the kind review, and am thrilled to hear that he and his family are doing well.
