William Mitchell Cunningham

We have known William Cunningham for more than 30 years, and know him to be an honest expert attorney, as well as a very good friend. He has assisted us over the years with several legal issues. One incident in particular was when our detached garage caught fire while we were away from home. Our g...arage burned down and was a total loss, including everything inside. The garage and our residence had been insured through our homeowners insurance company for literally years, and no claims had ever been filed. We filed a claim with the insurance company on the garage, and they denied the claim. We contacted Mr. Cunningham and asked for legal assistance. He contacted the insurance company regarding their refusal to honor the claim. Finally, an insurance representative came to assess the damage and try to determine the cause of the fire, which was found to be a wiring shortage inside the circuit breaker box. Mr. Cunningham pursued the matter until a successful resolution was reached and the claim was paid. Mr. Cunningham's persistence and expertise helped us tremendously in this difficult matter.

Compassionate, sincere, dedicated, and a man of his word are just a few adjectives that I would use to describe William "Billy" Cunningham. After much prayer and soul searching I feel our family was connected with just the right person at the time we needed him most. He helped us work through a traum...atic situation involving the wrongful death of a family member. He was with us every step of the way and always made sure we knew exactly what was happening with our case. He went the extra mile throughout the entire case working long hours, traveling far distances , sending emails, making phone calls- he was available to us at all times and that was very reassuring. He made us feel as if we were the only case he was working on - he put in the time needed to see it to the end. While going through this terrible time two wonderful things happened in that we realized sometimes the "good guys" really do win and hard work, staying the course, and much prayer are the way to a successful ending. Secondly and most importantly we made a true friend and we are so thankful for that!!! Words cannot adequately express the admiration and appreciation we feel for William "Billy" Cunningham.
