Biography
I have been practicing law for 31 years, primarily in the areas of Probate Administration, Probate Litigation, Trust Litigation and Civil Litigation. I take pride in efficiently handling my cases and providing personalized care to my clients. I am a 3rd generation lawyer, practicing with my father, Ralph G. Holberg, III, (currently in his 60th year) and for a few years with my late grandfather, Ralph G. Holberg, Jr. I am a native Mobilian having graduated from UMS in 1986, receiving a B.A. in Political Science in 1990 from the University of Alabama and my J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1993. I practice primarily in Mobile and Baldwin Counties but can practice throughout the State in Probate, Circuit and the Federal Courts. I am married and have 3 children. Concise, intelligent and experienced
I spoke to Michael about an unusual estate issue recently. He was very knowledgeable about the law and spoke very fluently about the options available to my mom. We quickly came up with a common sense solution that made my mother happy and cut way down on her anxiety during a stressful time of grief....

Mom's Estate
I had a transfer deed for my mom's house. Mr. Holberg told me it meant nothing and I had to file for probate. I took it to another lawyer and he said I did not have to go through probate. He told me that I should take my deed to the courthouse and file it. No probems at the courthouse. Beware.
