Most estate planning attorneys draft documents. I spent years managing a bank trust department, which means I've seen what happens after the documents are signed.

I've watched plans work exactly as intended. I've also watched them fall apart because the wrong person was named trustee, a beneficiary form was never updated, or no one had authority to act when it mattered most.

That experience is why I founded Heircraft Planning. My focus is on helping Alabama and Florida families understand how the system actually works, so the decisions they make now hold up when it counts.

I hold a J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law and am licensed to practice in both Alabama and Florida. My background spans law, finance, and trust administration, and I bring all of it to every client relationship.

We are a small firm. We get to know our clients, not just their assets. If you want clarity before you commit to anything, that's exactly what we offer. Heircraft Planning is also a family effort. My wife René manages operations and works directly with clients throughout the process, making sure nothing falls through the cracks and that every family feels supported from start to finish. Our daughter Sydney handles the digital side, keeping everything accessible and straightforward.
